Texas crude oil production is at about 92 million barrels per month or over 3 million barrels per day. This is triple some of the months between 2001 and 2007. Texas is over the level of the 1980s and nearly back to the level of the 1970s.
Texas is near the oil production level of the UAE and Iraq. Iraq and UAE are each around the 3 million barrel per day level. If Texas were a country it would be in the range of a top 6-8 oil producing country.
The United States is at 99% [8.867 million bpd] of the 1980s peak at 8.965 [million bpd] in crude oil production. There was a higher peak of about 9.6 million bpd in the 1970s.
The Texas railway commission has a different number for Texas crude oil production because they do not include condensate.
